Welcome to our new website!

I'd like to formally welcome you to the new Sanderson blog, part of a major investment into our brand and web identity to ensure our digital character reflects our position as a business.

Having been in operation since 1975, and as one of the most financially strong and longest-established IT recruitment businesses in the UK today, the temptation exists to sit back, relax and postpone investment indefinitely....

At Sanderson Recruitment however we're growing fast, and we take pride in our innovation and ability to adapt to a dynamic market; this has been at the core of our service offering for almost 40 years, and a key feature of our sustained presence in the recruitment market.

Evolution 


It doesn't take a genius to realise that there is a new world emerging online. Tablets, smart phones and online devices have rapidly evolved from a techie/expensive rarity to a common commodity.

Almost 18 months ago, the BBC reported that 50% of ALL UK internet traffic comes from a mobile device (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-14731757) - that's almost half of all visits, and this figure has been growing ever since.

We wanted to create a responsive online environment for our website visitors to gain a uniquely tailored experience for their visit, where the desktop website is highly visual, interactive and clear, while the  tailored mobile experience emphasises easy access to key information and speedy loading times.

We regularly review our services with our clients and candidates and the theme of expert market knowledge is a common one, hence our oft-used tagline 'Knowledge Based Recruitment'.

In having this resource of vertical market experts in individual fields across IT, Finance, Business Change and more, rather than keep our information to ourselves we will channel this expertise through our all-new social media platforms.

We don't believe in cloak-and-dagger-smoke-and-mirror methods, we like to share our point of view and learn from the concurrent discussion. Thinking on the future we're engaging with industry leading bloggers, looking at joining forces with wider local community projects and even pencilling together some ideas for a fully bespoke iPhone application to truly provide career opportunities at the click of a button. The future's bright!
